fallie dancing to Para III by Morris Louis
Fallie likes this painting.  Today she spent about five minutes dancing in front of it while she looked at it.
The first Saturday of every month is museum day (we are less than consistent with this ritual so it is really every other month).  Some arts organization, who I should really google and send a thank you, buys up a bunch of tickets to the High Museum and gives them out free to residents.  We take a train down to the museum and pretend we are Chihiro et al. in Spirited Away. Sometimes we spend an hour in the museum and sometimes, like today, we spend three or four.  It was big fun but by the end we were worn out.  All four of us were exhausted as we ate our picnic in the shade outside of the museum, but the girls found more energy when they were released to run around in the courtyard.
It is time for a nap now, but if it is sunny in an hour, we will celebrate the renewed depth of Lake Lanier by setting up the sprinkler in front of the house and wantonly spraying water into the air for the neigborhood kids.
