Thursday is always pancake day, but we have six gallons of Halloween candy to eat, so I decided to surprise the girls with a special Saturday edition.
After breakfast, the girls scattered to work on their various projects while Floyd and I sat on the couch, drank coffee, and watched this week’s episode of The Office. The demonstration of recent developments in the martial arts had me laughing so hard, I spilled coffee on myself. In any case, my slightly scalded thigh did not stop me from having a very good morning.

They consoled her with a long hug. After breakfast, we are heading up to the mountains for the day. We are planning to go to Fort Mountain and hike around the stone walls and the overlook, but we may wind up stopping at Amicalola or any other place that catches our eye.
