hello! oooh, new teeth!
Finn’s and Fall’s draft, pre-publication, in utero names were Crazy Horse and Geronimo respectively, so this new Doctor’s catchphrase, “Geronimo!” is either going to be endearing or annoying. I think it is too soon to tell; Floyd is leaning towards annoying, but she did enjoy the new series premiere.

we got cable
Well, we got a cable, a six dollar SVA to RCA cable which now connects a three year old laptop to an eight year old analog television. No more cd+r sneakernet to the beloved but now deprecated DVP642 with its limited DivX support and unruly interpretation of Qpel. Hello SNES emulation on a CRT like the gods and Shigeru Miyamoto intended. Also, hello strange world of Matroska encoded video. This is not a digital media center as it would appear in the pages of Wired magazine, but we are having fun with it.
